IFSC – Belize

The International Financial Services Commission known as IFSC is a government agency responsible with financial regulation from Belize.

IFSC was formed in 1999 and the company headquarters are at Belize. The agency relies on self-regulation and has recently issued licensing regulations to license all international financial services providers.

His main responsibilities are to control all financial market participants, exchanges and enforcing of financial regulations. Also IFSC has responsibilities like promoting and developing Belize as a center for international financial services, protecting and enhancing the reputation of Belize as an offshore financial center, providing appropriate supervision and regulation of international financial services, collecting, storing and disseminating reliable and timely information to interested parties on changes and new trends in these services.
